Please don’t take any advice from a travel agent who has never been there. There are very few people who will actually watch out for your interests. Take the time to do a little bit of homework and your trip will be a homerun. Even if you are planning a trip to Spain and you choose to visit the southern region of the country, you will see that making the trip across the straits of Gibraltar into North Africa is definitely an option that you want to consider. Spending a day or two in Morocco can be a nice change from being in Spain the entire time. You must remember that Morocco is less geared to tourism than the majority of Western Europe. Therefore not knowing how to approach your trip can result in disaster. A little bit of know-how can result in discovering one of the most interesting places on the planet. Morocco is filled with sites that have tremendous historical significance as well as breathtaking views. Better yet check out one of the many castles located throughout the country.
